Civic and Social Organizations

Civic organizations are associations created to provide volunteer assistance or support for community programs. Civic groups are not non-profit institutions and only used for charitable causes or educational reasons.

Civic organizations help to provide information to the general public and to the government, they act on behalf of others and provide solutions for the public sector, and other organizations. Since they cannot make profits, most of their labor requirements are done by volunteers.
