KIIT announcing its entrance – Getting ready to crack it

If you are an aspiring engineer or want to study BBA, there is no better college choice than KIIT. Not only does it have a rich and experienced faculty, with its amazing placements, it sure does make for one of India’s top colleges. However, since the KIIT Admission Entrance Exam is a national level exam, it is not easy to get into this college. Apart from the cut off marks required in your 10+2 and/or college examinations, it is important to score well in the entrance exam as well.

The college will only call you for counselling sessions if you have scored well in the entrance exam, irrespective of your prior marks. Firstly understanding and knowing the syllabus by heart is of utmost importance. This will further ensure that you don’t miss out on any important topics and can score well. The second most important thing is to know the exam pattern. Since you will only be given 180 minutes to complete 120 questions, planning how you might answer the paper will surely help. This article further talks about some things you should keep in mind about the exam pattern.

Since this is a national level exam, the question paper will be in English. There are three sections of questions, where each question is objective and will hold 4 marks individually. Candidates can choose to answer; however, many questions they want to, and in whichever order, they want to. However, there is a negative marking as well. For each wrong answer, you will get a deduction of one Mark. Even though this might not sound like a lot, answering questions with little surety can add up eventually. It is advised that you leave the question you are not really sure about and only answer those that you are a hundred per cent confident about.

If you think there is a wrong question or there is a doubt, you can simply click on the ‘Mark for review’ option. This can also help if you think that you might answer that question later as you have the option of coming back to it later. Similarly, you can always answer one question and get back to change it later if you have a different answer. This allows the candidates to move through sections quicker and as per their convenience. You must also remember that since the tests are online, the link will automatically expire after 180 minutes. Admission info visit at: https://kiitee.kiit.ac.in/
