DHL Express France invests €170 million in new logistics hub

DHL Express has inaugurated its new logistics hub in Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, which is said to be ten times larger than the previous one. DHL Express France has invested €170 million in the construction of its new regional hub in the airport's cargo area. This new facility covers a total area of 91,000 m2, equivalent of 13 football fields.

The strengthening of DHL Express' presence at Paris-Charles de Gaulle will fully contribute to the attractiveness of the airport's "cargo city", Europe's leading and largest cargo zone. Groupe ADP is involved as a land-developer and investor.

By moving from its air freight station in cargo 2 district of the airport - the oldest freight station of the cargo city - to a state-of-the-art warehouse in cargo 7 district, DHL will be able to rely on a more efficient tool for sorting and cross-docking air parcel flows in international transit, coming from and going to Europe, the French overseas departments and territories and major exports.
