we share our top five ways to help your players improve their hand-eye coordination. The drills we cover are designed to work on your players' focus, hand-eye coordination, hand quickness, and ball tracking skills. We demonstrate each drill using Smushballs, Vector balls, Hecostix, and Fielder's Dome mats. The drills are easy to set up and can be done individually or with a partner.
Here are our top five drills:
1. Smush Ball Wall Toss: This drill involves tossing two smush balls off a wall, catching and firing them back. It's a fun way to get your eyes focusing on the ball and improve your hand-eye coordination and quickness.
2. Partner Catch using Smush Ball: This drill is a partner catch where you exchange smush balls with your partner. You can add more balls as you progress and work on your ball exchange skills and hand-eye coordination.
3. Two Ball: This drill involves tossing two balls at your partner, who must swap hands to catch them both. You can vary the sequence and add spin to keep things interesting.
4. Vector Ball and Eco Stick: In this drill, you roll a vector ball and Eco stick and catch the stick that matches the color of the ball. It's a great way to work on your ball tracking skills and hand-eye coordination.
5. Fielder's Dome Mat: This drill involves rolling a smush ball at a Fielder's Dome mat and trying to catch the ball before it hits the ground. It's a great way to improve your ball tracking skills and hand-eye coordination.
