October 11, 2019: DACHSER has appointed long-standing managing director of the Asia Pacific region Edoardo Podestá as COO of Air & Sea Logistics, replacing Jochen Müller with immediate effect.
Müller and DACHSER have mutually agreed not to extend his contract when it expires in 2020.
He will stop working for the company immediately.
“Edoardo Podestá combines his success as an entrepreneur and strong leadership skills with his profound knowledge of the Asian and global air and sea freight markets.
As COO Air & Sea Logistics, he will continue to expand our intercontinental network for air and sea freight and link it even more closely with our European overland transport network,” said Bernhard Simon, CEO, DACHSER.
Podestá, a seasoned DACHSER manager, will head the global air and sea freight business.
