The Content Marketing Kitchen: Four Tips for Writing Delicious Copy

How many times have you entered a good restaurant and had a bad meal? The guess is you have almost been impressed by a large number of meals you have taken in these places. The ones that were poorly done you have not forgotten about them, but you still visit the same place occasionally. A better restaurant seldom gives you the chance to dislike their meal. The same trick is applicable in content marketing; you need to keep your blog or web visitors coming. The secret is to offer them to read a delicious copy each time. However, how do you do it?  These four tips should allow you to write delicious copy.

  1. Keep it simple

This means your choice of words needs to be simple. Do not confuse this for dumbness. Simplicity is essential in good expression; why not be understood if that is your goal? If there is an easy option that is understandable by anyone reading your blog, then use the simple option. People like it that way. Do not chase your readers with good but hard to decipher terms.

  1. Apply the rule of three in your writing

The idea of a delicious copy is to appeal to your readers. For a long time in history, people have loved lists with at least three items. If you can limit yourself to lists to three important details, you might swing your readers aside. Another way to look at it is that your structure needs to create a flow and one way to do it is through a three-step form. Start at the beginning, then the middle and conclude with an end. You see, that was easy, and it will make the reading more interesting to your readers at any time.

  1. Some poetry could do the trick

As we grew up, one thing that stood is the love for poems. They always had a way to our hearts. Even when we have gotten of age and gotten ourselves busy to stay in touch, poems are still a thing. If you can find a way to coin poetry into your work, then you could produce outstanding web copies. Some of the items you might find useful in this adventure include the use of assonance that is the repetitions of certain vowel sounds within words. Other tools include alliteration, rhyme, and repetition. These things are memorable and can do the trick for your page.

  1. Work on rhythm

Singing, speaking, and writing hugely depend on flow. Your words need to soothe your read could be roughly, softly, or mildly. A reader needs to feel the flow of your content. The flow can be one source of identity. When someone reads your copy, they will know it is your copy. One way of doing this is to read out your copy loudly after writing it. A good flow makes your content easy to read. If you can improve the readability, then you have a chance at producing delicious content.  Another way is to check the length of your sentences. The trick is to mix both long and short sentences to avoid altering your reader’s breathing rate while they read your copy.

After all, writing a delicious copy is not that hard. Spend some time improving the way you do. This could increase the number of people that visit your page every day. Who does not want that?
