Male Pattern Baldness Stages

Male pattern baldness stages can be an embarrassing thing, but fortunately there are ways to slow its progression and even get your hair back. Although it can be expensive and take time, there are steps you can take that have been proven effective to treat male pattern baldness and give you the hair you’ve always wanted! Here’s what you need to know about male pattern baldness and how to get rid of it.

When you’re trying to get rid of male pattern baldness, it’s important to understand what actually causes it. Basically, two kinds of hair loss occur in men: androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and telogen effluvium. AGA occurs as a result of genetics, and can also be triggered by stress or illness. This type will lead to hair thinning or complete loss over time in men with a genetic predisposition for balding. While there is nothing to do about your genes when it comes to AGA, stressful situations can be avoided and illnesses treated with medication if necessary. Telogen effluvium is an acquired form of hair loss that can happen at any age, but usually after some sort of shock like chemotherapy treatment or childbirth. It usually leads to partial shedding that lasts anywhere from 3 months to 3 years, but once your hair falls out again – which many people experience – new growth should resume normally from wherever you lost it. Both types tend to cause patches of missing hair on your head if severe enough; however AGA tends toward general thinning rather than clumps falling out all at once like TE does.

Step 1 - Go From Stage 1 to Stage 2

If you are just starting to go bald, there are a few things you can do right away. To begin with, it is important that you don’t stress out about it. There is no need for dramatic changes in your lifestyle or your diet, both of which will only make you feel more anxious. Try a variety of hair masks and hair care products, though bear in mind that these can be expensive. In terms of diet, simply incorporate some omega-3 fatty acids into your meals on a regular basis (this isn’t just good for your hair – it’s good for everything!). Omega-3 fatty acids are found in flax seeds and walnuts; they improve blood circulation and reduce swelling around wounds such as those found on your scalp.
